Art Guidelines: No art, no worries

Just email us what you can and we will work with you on the rest. Our art team will present free stock images and offer free typesetting services to help complete your design. With todays technology, we can accept almost any file format.Our preferred format is Adobe Illustrator with an .eps or .ai file extension. If this does not exist, a high res ( 300-600 dpi) .jpg, or .pdf file format is usually fine. Other preferred program formats include PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw, or Quark Express. Please send art files in a creative outline format and include all fonts in your design.

How do I send my artwork?

Free unlimited e-proofs without extra charges!

After you place an order, you will receive an email order confirmation. Simply reply back and attach art files when ready. You may also send art directly to art@conventionbags.com along with your order number and we will route to your sales representive for you. Unlimited e-proofs are provided on all orders for your final approval prior to production.

What happens next after order is placed?

No surprises. Exact invoices and eproofs provided on every order- prior to production. No overuns.

What happens next? Confirmations & communication every step of the way ! Your order and receipt of art will be confirmed. Order questions will be clarified with your personal sales representative and our order processing team. An e-proof and exact order totals will be sent via email for final approval before production. If method of payment is via credit card, your card will not be charged until we receive your final approval - and not any sooner. In addition, a paid invoice will follow immediatley after card is charged. UPS Email notification will be sent with tracking information once order ships.

Screen / set-ups cover the process of creating the silkscreen ( i.e.“ template” or “plate” ) used to apply the imprint to the product, the labor to calibrate the equipment to client ‘s desired imprint size and imprint color specifications, the design layout , typesetting if desired, and a paper proof. Screens are stored for a minimum period of 14 months. On re-orders, screens will be either cleaned or re-created and a paper proof will be sent to the client for signature approval before production to verify the correct imprint Free sample policy: Samples provide our clients the opportunity to view the excellent quality and features of our products prior to ordering. In most cases samples are sent at no charge to established clients and pre-qualified prospects. We reserve the right not to send samples if requests are excessive or seem personal in nature. At our discretion, samples may be invoiced. A credit card may be requested before shipment. Samples shipping outside the continental US may require credit card in advance of shipment.

Shipping

Shipping is additiional unless stated otherwise. Our preferred shipping method is UPS ground due to economy and online tracking capability. Rush orders will ship best way and as needed if specific delivery dates are requested. Order estimates may vary from actual costs due to changes in order, art work, quantity, over/underruns, destinations, fuel surcharges, brokerage and changes in shipping methods, etc. Prices do not include shipping and handling. We can drop ship in case pack quantities at no additional fee. Orders will be shipped UPS or best way depending on destination, weight, carton size, and requested delivery dates. Our factories do not ship third party or freight collect. Shipping costs will be prepaid and added to invoice. Time sensitive orders will ship as needed to meet your specific delivery requirement.

Time sensitive orders

Production time is very quick on most models and without rush charges. (Plastic bags are an exception.). Art work stops the clock. Art that is not camera ready or not submitted in the requested art format may delay production. See art specs. Orders will ship UPS / best way depending on final destination and requested delivery dates. Time sensitive orders will ship as needed to meet your specific delivery requirements. Orders requiring imprinted spec samples will be sent by air to preserve delivery date.

Fastbag 3 day production with proofs

Fastbag rush service is a cooperative effort and is available on select models. After factory approved camera ready art is received, a paper proof art will be returned in 1-2 business days, After immediate proof approval, the order will be produced in 1-3 business days ( as needed) and your order will ship via the shipping method needed to deliver by your request date. Any delay in proof approval or changes to order and art may delay production time and delivery method. The more lead time you allow, the more economical we can ship your order!

Export Transactions

We ship world wide. For International shipments a custom broker contact and telephone number must be provided. Export shipments require wire transfer or credit card only. We are not responsible for delays in customs and transit time. Client is responsible for all fees for brokers, clearance and incidental fees which may not be billed all at same time.

Return Policy

Product samples are available free of charge prior to purchase. There are no returns on blank or imprinted merchandise unless there are defects in workmanship. Returns will require factory inspection and a return authorization number. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Payment Options

To establish open credit, please send order confirmation (or copy of quote) on letterhead for credit review. The letterhead confirmation helps us to process your open credit request. A composite online credit score of 80 with a 3 year clear history file is desired. Our open credit terms are net 10. All credit requests are subject to review and final approval.

A credit card may be required for first time orders, rush orders, and for accounts not listed with credit reporting agencies. When credit cards are used, a credit card payment authorization form will be sent to you for signature approval. Credit cards are charged after proof approval and prior to production. Credit card totals will include shipping and handling. We accept Visa, Master, American Express. Prepayment by company check (for D & B rated companies) or by certified funds such as money orders or certified checks are also available in the event credit has not yet been established or credit card payment is not desired. Wire transfers are also available.
